Statewide Fixed Capital Outlay Program A/E Services, FDOT, Central Office:  Provided electrical, communications, and fire alarm requirements including reviewed A/E construction documents for Design-Build Solicitations in the various FDOT Maintenance Facilities from Arcadia (District I) to Tampa (District VII).  Typical Projects are highlighted below:

Arcadia Maintenance Yards, FDOT District One, Florida:  Administration and crew buildings were upgraded to ADA compliance.

Bartow Maintenance Yard, FDOT District One, Florida:  New 2,500-square-foot tractor shed.

Ft. Myers Maintenance Yard, FDOT District One, Florida:  3,012-square-foot addition to the existing administration building.

LaBelle Maintenance Yards, FDOT District One, Florida:  2,400 square feet were added to the existing shop building and a new 2,500-square-foot administration building was added.

Leesburg Maintenance and Construction Yard, FDOT District Five, Florida:  New 25-acre maintenance complex to accommodate 70 personnel with facilities for vehicle maintenance, small equipment maintenance, equipment/materials/vehicle storage facilities, field personnel lockers, shower facilities, shops for construction and equipment calibration, and administrative offices.  

Sebring Maintenance Yards, FDOT District One, Florida:  Existing administration building was remodeled and enlarged to 2,700 square feet.

FDOT District 2 Urban Office, Building Rehabilitation, Jacksonville, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of the renovation of the first floor office spaces and the parking lot areas.

FDOT State Materials Research Park, Gainesville, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of a $21-million testing and research facility on a 130,000-square-foot complex located on a 25-acre site for Phase 1 construction.

Mount Dora City Hall Expansion, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of a 17,500-square-foot renovation and expansion of this historic Mt. Dora City Hall complex.  

Tampa Bay Water Administration Office Building, Clearwater, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of a new three-story, 37,000-square-foot administrative office building on a 4-acre site.

Turlington Hall Renovations, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of renovations to three lecture halls.

Nuclear Science Building, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of renovations of the existing electrical distribution systems.

Doctor Hershkowitz Medical Office Building, Port Charlotte, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of a new 6500 square-foot facility with LEED sustainable design.

Parking Lot Lighting Upgrade, Marco Island Executive Airport, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of parking lot lighting utilizing high mast poles and high intensity fixtures.

Constant Voltage Regulator, Marco Island Executive Airport, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of upgrading existing voltage regulator for runway, PAPI, and taxi-way lighting.

Kenneth Johnson Apartment, Tampa, Florida:   Electrical Engineer for the design of interior renovations of 400 unit apartment complex.
